After the earthquake finally subsides, Wakkun pulls Ayumu to go, reminding him of his promise. Miku gets very angry and chases after them. She stops them, telling them that they’re making a mistake.

Short Summary:
Ayumu has a flashback of when he was little, playing hide and seek with Wakkun. He also remembers that day when his parents forced him to leave with his mother after he had already made a play date with Wakkun. Ayumu apologizes to Wakkun again, then suggests that they go to the festival together.

Short Summary:
The festival is finally starting! Miku is sick, but she eventually goes to the festival. Shione mulls about in her room for a bit, but also eventually ends up going (and comes face to face with Takuma). Ayumu was going to go with Miki and Miku, but he never returns, instead following a fairy into the forest and playing with Wakkun.

Quickie Summary:
The cat dance is almost upon the town as preparations are well underway. Miki is making a dress and later runs into Ayumu, and she talks to him about the dance before riding off. Ayumu gets a phone call at home from Shione. She asks him out to the dance, but he turns her down.
