And This Wasn’t Even The Best Part Of The Chapter October 31

Certainly it was nice to see Zaraki back fighting again and kind of toying with Yammy, but there were much more interesting things in this chapter. One thing of course was that Kurotsuchi showed up with a way for Ichigo to go back to the real world. It’s a bit deus ex machina, but it brings about the scenario that Ichigo might need to make use of his unstable powers right away and won’t be able to. Basically, he probably can’t swoop in and save the day. However - and this is what ended up being most interesting to me about this chapter - Unohana is going with him, and given her supposed power and how almost everyone in Soul Society appears afraid of her, I’m very curious to see if she’ll finally show some of her battle potential. It’d be awesome to see her take on Ichimaru or something, and I’m really hoping that she’s not being used here just to save Hiyori or heal the other injured. Come to think of it though, this is happening so fast that it doesn’t appear at this point that Inoue is going with them, so odds are that if Hiyori is to be saved, Unohana is going to have to do it.

   Kenpachi getting owned by a Gear 3 fist is considered a good thing?

   It was interesting to see Kubo draw in a more comedic style for this chapter. Considering that we were getting nothing but small dialogue battle scenes for a while now, this chapter was quite refreshing

    Not a bad chapter. A refreshing break from the macho hack and slash that we are used to seeing.

    I love Unohana. If Kubo lets her kick ass in the next few chapters, I’ll name my first child after him.

    Decent enough chapter.
    I’m really hoping Unohana will show some fighting potential but more likley than not her only purpose will be to stand by and heal any half dead characters, or at least Kubo continues in his usual fashion…
    Also a welcome change to see Ichigo not suddenly gain full control over this new power level and have to work to gain it. That at least gives other characters like Kenpachi a chance to show what they can do.

    well since unohana’s ‘gonna have to do it’ like Omni-san said, then hopefully she would be of some battle use, like I also thought.

    My guess is that Unohana is going to fight and that Mayuri can also open a doorway to the real world as many times as he wants. So by that, Inoue will show up a bit after Ichigo and start the healing.

    I hope we ger to see Nel again soon. Yammy is probably dumb enough to try using a zero obscura on her.

    Do anyone else have a feeling that Aizen has done someting to Orihime that would prevent her from returning to the human world?

    I would say that Kubo should keep Unohana’s power level a secret throughout the series. If almost everyone is afraid of her, that just makes her more mysterious, and we will be more curious of her strength. If Kubo reveals her power at some point in the series, she’ll lose her mysterious aura, and fans will either be disappointed, or lose interest in Unohana’s character. So I say, keep her power level a secret, or at least don’t reveal her zanpakuto’s bankai.

    I seriously hope Kenpachi catches a SERIOUS beating (to near death would be preferable). I’m sick and tired of this aura of utter invincibility he’s been wrapped in ever since Ichigo kicked the crap out of him.

    i seriously dun get bleach anymore. have a think about it, ichigo with hallow transfomation juz barely beat grimjow, and grimjow was..no.6/5 i forgot. before that, ichigo WITHOUT the hallow transformation won kenpachi and byakuya. its really, i mean.REALLY funny, to see how kenpachi and byakuya said it as if, they can own the shit outa yammy, which will probably happen anyway( which byakuya has said ichigo’s help wasnt needed, when ichigo owned his ass last time), putting all tat aside, kenpachi also killed the mantis, which is 1/2 number above grimjow.(which seems to me, to be impossible, cause ichigo barely won grimjow with hallow form, and kenpachi juz beat tat mantis without any shit up his sleeve) bleach’s manga is going downhill, i dunno wat i shud expect anymore…

    oh yeh,i forgot to mention 2 more things, wizards are supposed to be stronger than captains, but why in the world did stark own the shit outa those 2 wizards, and when shunsui had his bankai out, stark was killed instantly o.O this is really funny…
