This turned out to be a fighting chapter that was very quick to read because there was so little dialogue, and as expected, it was a rather one-sided battle. The Visored took down those Gillians with no problems whatsoever (almost too easy), and for me, Lisa looked the coolest doing so. But the easy stuff ends here, and the next chapters will invariably have them struggling against stronger opponents. I’m not surprised that Shinji went for Aizen, but I highly doubt that he will be able to even lay a finger on him. Aizen’s smirk suggests that he’ll be able to stop Shinji’s sword with his bare hand/finger, or he knows that Ichimaru or Tousen will step in to help, or he has some other secret weapon against the Visored, or this could all be an illusion as part of an elaborate plot. Basically, there are a lot of things Aizen could do, and all of them bode poorly for Shinji. On the other hand, Shinji and company probably have bankai specials to unveil and maybe a few other tricks, so it could still be a good fight, and hopefully it won’t get stretched out too long. It’s just a shame that the good guys don’t coordinate more and go all-out on Aizen all at once or something, but then the story might be over too quickly.

I expect something ridiculous as Aizen taking out all the Visored with a single flick of his little finger.

why else have chapters that one can read in 2 mins that span a total of 8 secs in manga time?

I really hope that Gin intervenes, or steps in at some point soon. It’s about time we see him in some sort of intense combat.

What i don’t get is why Shinji would take OFF his hollow mask right before attacking Aizen…even if he looked extremely cool doing it Dx

If I were Shinji, I’d go bankai with my mask on and go for the kill right away.Big mistake on his part, since Aizen is only second to Yamamoto in overall strength.

I dont think Aizen will fight shinji in the next chapter. He might have to fight an espada, or maybe wonderwise.

This is so exciting, seeing all the Vizads fight those Menos and defeated them so quickly.. Can’t wait for the next chapter be out.. XDD

sooooooooooooooooooooo many fight in the current arc yet kubo’s pacing style is wayyyyyyyyyyyy too slow…
i wonder if it’ll take another 2 years for this arc to finish…dem it!

Aizen will just sit down and watch spades fighting vs vaizards, after 6 chapters maybe he could make some atack.

the vizards have so much potential. none of them have shown shikai yet, moreso bankai. who knows how far the battle would go i also think shinji and co. didn’t hide for a couple of years to be skewered by aizen’s black coffin (like komamura). maybe they trained themselves to counter aizen’s suigetsu’s ability or did some nasty stuff. it would be very disappointing if they had their asses handed again despite the hell they experienced before so im very much rooting for a cool fight.

Why do I get the feeling that this will be a rehash of the Soul Society Arc Finale?
Basically, the vizards arrived just in time to turn the tide of battle and they will probably finish off the rest of the espada Wonderwice included but in the end Aizen will excape in some way with Gin and Tousen and things will go back to square one.
I’m pretty sure no one important will die with the exception of maybe the espada…
I hope I’m surprised in some way or another, but at this point my expectations are pretty low. I hope at least we get to see some cool fights between the vizards and espada 1-3
