What The Hell Valkyria (Spoilers) July 4
So I was watching Valkyria earlier and was very happy to see that it got a new OP. That is, until I realized how massive a spoiler they threw into it by showing that Alicia does indeed have Valkyria blood in her (enough to face Selvaria for the matter). It’s a plot twist that wasn’t totally unexpected given how they’ve hinted about it in the past, but damn it I would have liked to see it played out in the series and not completely spoiled by an opening sequence several episodes before it happens. *shakes fist at A-1 Pictures*

Ah yes.
That was a magnificent moment in the game. Im glad I decided to play it first. I played it between the airing of episodes 1 and 4. After that was when I decided to watch it.

In fairness its shouldnt come as a massive surprise to alot of the fanbase for the anime as id guess alot of them have played the game already. But yeah for teh others it must suck a bit.
Is it really THAT much of a shock tho?
Equally there are bigger plot twists to come yet.

yeah… well this was kinda the worst possible but likly obvious development to come…
really hope for more action ( who did they actually fight against? ) and less of the valkyr part, even if that’s surely not possible…

I knew she would have Valkyrie blood in her from the beginning. Why else would the series be called VALKYRIA CHRONICLES. The title itself is a spoiler.

Every one seems to have picked up Alicia has Valkyria blood in her, i didn’t see that coming at all… I feel like a complete twat now.
I guess the name Valkyria Chronicles gives it away, considering so far the only Valkyria we have encountered is a supporting character and why name the series after a supporting role.

I’ve suspected that at least since ancient ruins episode - with passage opening to Alicia.
And WTF with Selvaria carving up tanks and buildings like paper????
Has flashbacks of Saikano and blasting squadrons of B-1s of the sky…
Note - that explains why Maxie didn’t need other bodyguards on his desert trip…
