Impressions:
It looks like they finally pulled Nakamura Yuuichi away from Macross Frontier for a bit to play some male Kuugen for a change. I mentioned last time that our masked tanuki sounded awfully similar to Mubyou’s seiyuu, Mizuhashi Kaori, but doing her deeper voice, so low and behold, it looks like we have a Mubyou twin. Since I’m always writing up the cast information for each post, the fact that the seiyuu for Fukurou wasn’t listed in the credits was a pretty much a dead giveaway. Anyhow, it was interesting to see Kou grab a can of Asahi and get drunk in a matter of seconds. It looks like our wasted miko’s hijinks don’t end here either as the next episode is a direct continuation of what was happening right up until the end of this one. Speaking of next time, it seems like we’ll find out more about the two Mubyous and get to see the Sakasaen in action.

Note: This will be my last semi-regular write-up as I’ll be leaving for Japan tomorrow. As mentioned in my vacation post, my tentative plan is to have placeholder posts (i.e. screenshots) as a bare minimum while I’m on my trip, but this may change once I’m there. My coverage this week has already become quite “lite”, with these past three posts, Special A 09, Nabari no Ou 09, and Wagaya no Oinari-sama. 09, being even more trimmed down than the ones before them (i.e. no summaries or simply a placeholder post). So just as a reminder, this is how my posts will be for the next month and a bit. I’ll strive to have at least some impressions, but summaries will be pretty unlikely as I won’t have time to write them up properly. So with that, it’s time for vacation! =D
