Episode at a Glance:
On New Years, Kouta is relaxing at home when Chizuru comes crashing in through the door to spend some time as lovers. While Kouta tries to spend the day normally by doing some kakizome (書き初め), i.e. “New Years writing”, Chizuru’s boredom leads to her taking advantage of Kouta as usual. After eating a home cooked meal Chizuru makes, the two of them start playing sugoroku (双六), a children’s dice game that Chizuru brought. Unbeknownst to Kouta, the instructions on each of the tiles is something ecchi, which leads to all sorts of antics from Chizuru. Nozomu later arrives and smells an unpleasant sexual scent in the room, so she decides to join in on this “Japanese tradition” (as Chizuru refers it to).
To get out of this, Kouta suggests that they all make a New Years visit to a shrine. There, they run into Tayura and eventually Omi, Mio. When drawing their fortunes for this year, Kouta finds out that he’ll have a troublesome year with women, while Tayura finds out that a nearby hindrance will make things between him and his love interest (Akane) worse. When Akane’s group meets up with everyone, she quickly gets drunk and they all spend some time at the New Year’s festival before heading out. However, they all decide to head over to Kouta’s place, much to Chizuru’s frustration.

Despite being a fairly “quiet” episode compared to the ones before, the sexual connotations were as abundant as ever. In Kouta’s room, it started off with Chizuru playing footsies with Kouta’s crotch under the kotatsu (こたつ) “table with a heater”, then Chizuru revealing her school swimsuit under her yukata, and finally their sugoroku board game. Nozomu’s character never fails to amuse as I found her nonchalant, “Oh, I didn’t wear a school swimsuit” line pretty humorous.
At the shrine, there were quite a few sexual connotations, which pretty much speak for themselves. While I was watching this, I couldn’t help but think of how daring the producers are with this show. It does air at 10:00 on Saturday morning in Japan, but at least it’s on a cable channel (…I believe).
I’m not quite sure what Tayura sees in Akane, but listening to a drunken Saito Chiwa is always good. Omi on the other hand seems to have a profound interest in our frog girl Mio. Also, the Nanao twins showed up briefly, after being nonexistent in the last couple of episodes.
Next episode it seems like we’ll meet a new character, who has quite a cool ninja getup if I do say so myself.

This is becoming more and more like a hentai porn video than an Anime, but hey what the hell, if it makes me laugh then so be it, this episodes looks interesting to say the least, hopefully subs will arrive in good time ~
